Assistant Director of Enrollment, SCADnow

As a full-time assistant director of enrollment, you will receive and manage a large volume of daily communication from applicants, parents/guardians, and school counselors, and will work with these parties as prospective students navigate the admission and enrollment process. You will answer complex questions in an easily digestible manner regarding SCAD policies, admission requirements (based on student type), scholarships, financial aid, and enrollment, among others; prepare completed applications for admission review; and personally congratulate accepted students on their admission.

Among other duties, you will record and track applicant documents, review portfolio and résumé submissions, and remain knowledgeable of SCAD policies and procedures to communicate accurate information about the university (e.g., programs of study, SCAD locations, housing, transfer credit, class registration, student services, student involvement, SCADpro, CAS, SCADamp, BeeWell, etc.). You will also participate in special events as needed (e.g., SCAD Days, Spotlight Days, Commencement, orientation), regular Live Agent shifts, and will travel as needed to support off-campus events or recruitment opportunities.

The successful candidate demonstrates spectacular interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as exception organization and time management abilities. A positive outlook and a keen eye for detail and accuracy is essential, as the ability to think strategically in pursuit and achievement of departmental goals.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Salesforce, Banner, Application Xtender, Zoom, Pardot, Calendly, or similar products


Work Hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
