SCADpro Academic Coordinator

As a SCADpro academic coordinator, you will energize student engagement and facilitate teamwork by activating studios outside of class time, including design sprints and charettes to ensure progress toward comprehensive design solutions. You will prepare client profiles and project summaries, conduct research to support projects, and coordinate midterm and final presentations in collaboration with faculty and staff from SCADpro and SCADamp. Among other duties, you will also attend select class session to stay abreast of projects’ progress; organize, manage, and catalog project documentation; and serve as a role model to students by exemplifying professionalism, collaboration, and a project-focused mindset.

The successful candidate is a spectacular written and verbal communicator with equally exceptional interpersonal skills. Successful experience managing multiple projects simultaneously is paramount, and the candidate should also demonstrate a commitment to professionalism and integrity. A high degree of organization and attention to deal is also essential.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (master’s preferred)
  • One to three years of relevant professional experience, preferably in an academic environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Creative Suite, Slack, and Miro

Work Hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
