Assistant Director of Admission, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia

SCAD seeks a charismatic assistant director of admission to identify and recruit remarkable students from Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia. In this full-time role, you will cultivate positive relationships with prospective students, families, counselors, and educators.

Reporting to the director of recruitment, you will travel extensively throughout your assigned region to develop networking opportunities for and deliver spectacular presentations to prospective students, parents, teachers, counselors, and SCAD alumni. Travel for this position includes about 18 weeks in the fall and 12-15 weeks during the spring.

The successful candidate demonstrates exceptional interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, and can deliver dazzling presentations with ease. Strong organizational skills are essential, and the candidate should thrive as an independent contributor.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • Ability to travel extensively

Work Hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
