SCAD Savannah seeks a full-time faculty recruiter to successfully bring in top talent and industry leaders in art, business, and design from around the world.

In this role, your primary focus will be to fill unique and challenging professor and leadership positions. Working with HR, academic leadership, and other member of the university, you will determine faculty staffing needs and identify the relevant industries, institutions, graduate programs, conferences, professional organizations, agencies/search firms, and individuals to research and target. You will build a database of stellar candidates to network with for faculty, staff, and leadership needs using active research strategies (e.g., social media and professional group networking, cold calls, direct campaigns, etc.), as well as prescreen resumes, conduct background and reference checks, and coordinate/participate in the interview process.

As a faculty recruiter, you will collaborate with relevant parties to coordinate on-campus visits for potential candidates, maintain applicant files for reference and retention, and research cost-effective venues to advertise for assigned positions. Among other duties, you will also leverage your established professional network and continue to build a network of contacts for the good of the university.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality before, during, and after the recruiting/hiring process

Certificates, licenses and registrations:Valid driver's license

Work Hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
