SCADStory Student Performance Manager

As a student performance manager for SCADstory, you will ensure a positive guest experience by interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and coordinating SCADstory's energetic student staff. You will work in tandem with the SCADstory manager to provide operational support and superior customer service, overseeing opening and closing procedures, guest registration and check-in, and supervision of student staff. You also will interact with SCADstory guests, conversing with them about the university's history, recognitions, programming, and other information.

The ideal candidate has excellent written and verbal communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, with the agility to work with faculty and staff, institutional stakeholders, and the general public to promote awareness and further SCAD's positive reputation. Prior work experience in a performing arts role is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • One to two years of related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask


Work Hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings. This position requires the ability to work one weekend day per week, with additional hours as required for special events.
