Enrollment Events Manager

As a full-time enrollment events manager, you will assist with the interview, selection, and evaluation of pre-college program instructors and interns; coordinate with an array of university departments on transportation, financial services, security, and more; and manage the complete application process for pre-college programs. You will work closely with the assistant director of enrollment events to create and implement marketing strategies for pre-college program awareness, including the development, review, and formatting of content and marketing pieces and maps for distribution. You will assist with the pre-college programs budget, negotiate vendor contracts, and secure each program’s needs (e.g., classroom space, transportation, supplies, etc.). You will also serve as the communications liaison for pre-college programs, as well as organize the programs’ logistics, workshops, and presentations.

In this managerial role, you will hire superb leaders and train them to assist with enrollment events and pre-college programs, as well as SCAD Days, Spotlight Days, Hometown Hero, Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, and SCAD Challenge. You will supervise pre-college assistants and student ambassadors, evaluate and revise operational goals and program development strategies, and support student leadership through student involvement committee meetings and support for the planning of the LEAD Conference. Among other duties, you will also assist with other recruitment and enrollment initiatives such as Live Agent and virtual information sessions, admission tour assistance, and domestic or global recruitment travel. Attendance at all major SCAD events is required.

The successful candidate has exceptional interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, and can deliver dazzling presentations. Advanced customer relations and customer-service knowledge is essential, as is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
  • At least one year of professional experience
  • Ability to work outside office hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
  • Ability to travel to all SCAD locations as needed

Work Hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
