As an assistant director of enrollment, you will build strong relationships and networks with teachers, prospective students and their parents, and alumni through spectacular presentations, individual attention, and occasional in-person meetings. You will also encourage prospective students to visit SCAD locations and meet with these students and their families during visits, and follow-up with prospective students regularly via phone, email, and in-person visits.
You will also serve as an advocate for a caseload of about 900 students by encouraging the submission of portfolios for SCAD admission and scholarships; providing counsel on the admission process, academics, and financial questions; and preparing prospective students’ applicant files for presentation to the admission review committee. Among other responsibilities, you will also participate in call-a-thons and Live Agent sessions as well as SCAD Days, orientation, and Focus Days for prospective students and parents, counselors, and teachers.
The successful candidate is upbeat and positive with spectacular interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal. Organized and highly detailed, the candidate reaches goals strategically and efficiently and can shift priorities with ease. The ability to work well under pressure is essential.

Work Hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
- Ability to travel extensively
- Knowledge of the web and web-based technologies

- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline
