Job Description
We are looking for an hourly worker who will join a research team exploring the role of smart home sensors in fall risk prediction for community dwelling older adults. The person in this position will have technical skills, will assist with installation of depth sensors in residents' homes, and will assist with oversight of data collection, resolving technical issues with the smart home sensor installation and maintenance of the sensor installation.
Responsibilities include:
- Accompany the project manager/coordinator to participants homes during the initial screening & exit interview (for device removal)
-Reprogram depth sensors to participant wi-fi network
-Install depth sensor hardware (training will be provided)
-Troubleshoot installation issues
-Remove device from apartment
-Assist with data management
