The Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Board certification or eligibility in Hospice and Palliative Medicine is required.

Teaching responsibilities may include direct teaching and curriculum design for medical students, residents, and fellows. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high quality teaching responsibilities.

Clinical responsibilities may include inpatient palliative care consultations at Penn Hospice at Rittenhouse, Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, and/or the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Fellowship training in Hospice and Palliative Medicine is strongly preferred.
