Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of pediatric Psychology. Positions are available for clinicians with expertise in: delivery of evidence-based care, program development, and integrated behavioral health care. Specific populations served include: youth with functional GI disorders; children with feeding disorders; and youth served in the weight management clinic. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree. PA Psychology License.

Teaching responsibilities may include supervising behavioral health trainees (including psychology externs and interns); giving lectures to trainees in psychology, psychiatry, and pediatrics; develop curricula.

Clinical responsibilities may include assessment and treatment services to children and families, in inpatient and outpatient settings.

The Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences (DCAPBS) at CHOP has over 40,000 patient contacts per year, and is investing substantially in infrastructure and faculty to build upon our world-class pediatric mental health research. We have a particular interest in the areas of mood disorders, anxiety, and eating disorders within pediatric populations. Potential research modalities include clinical trials, longitudinal risk factor studies, brain imaging, and genetic or metabolic studies seeking to improve personalized treatments.
