Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of General Pediatrics in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required as an excellent pediatric clinician with a strong career interest in developing or advancing expertise in the diagnosis of children with undiagnosed conditions and/or the care of children with specific complex chronic conditions. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Candidates must be board certified/eligible in Pediatrics.

Teaching responsibilities may include the teaching of residents, fellows, and/or medical students.

Clinical responsibilities may include focus on the Specialty Care Clinics within the Division of General Pediatrics or staffed by members of the Division of General Pediatrics. These include the Diagnostic Clinic, the Spina Bifida Clinic, the Acquired Autonomic Dysfunction Program, the Long COVID Clinic, and other clinics serving the needs of specific cohorts of patients and their families. The individuals filling this position would not be responsible for clinical care at all these clinics, but rather some combination of them, depending upon experience and interest.
