Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Applicants must have an M.D. and/or Ph.D degree. MD candidates must be board certified in Pediatrics and/or Gastroenterology and have a reputation as an excellent clinician.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, residents and fellows, and participating in family education days.

Clinical responsibilities may include providing outstanding outpatient, inpatient and procedural care at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and/or its satellites. PhD candidates will not have clinical duties.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include augmenting basic, translational and/or clinical research initiatives in liver disease, motility, bile duct development, gastrointestinal allergies, nutrition, inflammatory bowel disease or microbiome research. The Clinician Educator track requires evidence of academic scholarship.
