As part of the Division of Human Resources and reporting to the Executive Director/CoS HR, the IT Security, Systems & Data Junior Specialist position will focus on assisting in providing support to 75+ Windows desktops and Windows Servers. The IT Security, Systems & Data Junior Specialist duties include: assisting in the maintenance and daily operation of network resources, providing user support, and installation of applications and workstations. This position works closely with the Human Resources staff to assist with their technology needs including email, printers, Operating Systems, common software applications, password and account management, and the installation of computer software. The IT Security, Systems & Data Junior Specialist will work closely with other members of the IT staff in Human Resources on security issues such as operating system and application patches, network monitoring, and firewalls. Mitigate risk of loss of HR information with disaster recovery planning and testing and keeping up with the latest security threats. The IT Security, Systems & Data Junior Specialist will work on obtaining sensitive ad-hoc data requests. Interest and aptitude for using new tools and having hands in multiple areas and strong experience with Office O365/2016 is required.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

• System administration of O365/2016 (outlook, word, excel, PowerPoint) as well as troubleshoot mobile phones (iPhone and androids
  
• Information security of HR systems -- providing proactive installation of patches/hotfixes, conducting industry research for awareness and impact, and configuration
  
  of all desktops and workstations. Monitor the security of the infrastructure, including logs, and monitoring tools, as well as administer hardware and software-based firewalls
  
• Backup for asp.NET development Junos Hardware Routing Firewall Programming with Powershell, SQL, or C#
  
  Basic web coding skills - HTML, CSS, javascript
  
• Prepare data collection at made by clients
  
• Work with data analysis tools and programming languages to support projects and the needs of the department. This will primarily involve the use of SQL and C#
  
• Other duties and responsibilities, as assigned
  

Budgeted Pay Range - $60-65K commensurate with education and experience

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with 0-1 year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Someone who has experience with Azure, database administration, server administration, firewall configuration, programming and .Net experience is a plus.
