The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of outpatient and inpatient services at several Penn Medicine practice sites as well as focused interest in emerging specialties including cardio-oncology, women's cardiovascular disease, aortopathy and aortic medicine, vascular medicine, HIV cardiovascular disease, cardiovascular informatics, and others. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in cardiovascular disease.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, medical residents, and cardiovascular fellows. There will also be opportunities to teach advanced practice providers.

Clinical responsibilities may include attending on the outpatient services at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and associated practice sites. Opportunities for non-invasive imaging will be considered based on experience and the needs of the division.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include building a collaborative and extramurally funded research program in the areas of clinical specialty.
