The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of GI oncology. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Board eligible/certified in Medical Oncology is required.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, residents, and fellows as well as advanced practice providers, pharmacists and their trainees.

Clinical responsibilities may include care of patients with GI malignancies. Selected candidates will also be expected to expand clinical trials in GI oncology.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include excellent qualifications in clinical research. High quality clinical trials which lead to scholarship are required in this position. Selected candidates will be a member of the Abramson Cancer Center. Evidence of scholarship is required in the Clinician Educator track.
