Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in either the non-tenure clinician educator track or the tenure track. Expertise is required in the specific area of child neurology. Applicants must have an M.D. and/or Ph.D degree.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching and oversight of observers, medical students, residents and fellows in a clinical setting, and formal lecture opportunities within the department.

Clinical responsibilities may include outpatient clinics, procedure sessions, inpatient coverage, inpatient afterhours on-call service, and possible practice at various locations.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include establishing an innovative, independent research program that will attract and maintain extramural funding from governmental agencies, private foundations, and industry.
