Job Description Summary
The candidate will lead efforts to assure compliance with applicable regulations and industry accepted standards that govern Good Clinical Laboratory Practices
(GCLP) of correlative laboratory assays in the Translational and Correlative Studies Laboratory (TCSL). The candidate in collaboration with the TCSL Associate Director will plan, coordinate and maintain the quality control program designed to ensure high quality data from correlative assays in the TCSL using flow cytometry, biochemical (Luminex, ELISA), and molecular assay (qPCR, RT-PCR, dPCR) platforms. Responsibilities include Quality Program and SOP development, implementation, review and migration to the Veeva SiteDocs platform. Include assisting with writing deviation from procedures and corrective action plans as well as change control documents. The candidate will also be responsible for preparing and completing QC action plans; implementing quality standards; identifying and resolving problems; responding to and acting on findings from both internal and external audits; The candidate will formulate and maintain quality control objectives and coordinate work towards these objectives with TCSL technical staff. The candidate will plan, promote, and organize regulatory training activities related to assay quality and reliability. Other duties include assisting the review and approval of assay reports from TCSL platforms and reviewing Assay Qualification Reports (AQRs). This position will also perform other responsibilities such as assisting with the TCSL services monthly billing using the PSOMs central account management system (CAMS).
