Job Description Summary
The Division of Health Policy is seeking a highly-motivated Research Coordinator C (CRC-C) to be responsible for the day-to-day research operations for a large, ongoing randomized control trial seeking to improve physical activity rates among patients with or at elevated risk for developing atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD).

The CRC-C will also contribute to the daily operations for a new initiative to reduce ASCVD risk. The initiative will adapt existing behavioral science evidence as well as novel patient, provider and system approaches to identify and treat patients at elevated ASCVD risk, with a focus on hypertension management and lowering LDL for patients in West and Southwest Philadelphia and in Lancaster, PA.

The CRC-C will support and implement research related activities for a number of rapid cycle pilots and for the large randomized control trial. Essential functions of this position will include but are not limited to: recruitment and enrollment of study participants; qualitative interviews; data collection and management in accordance with study protocols; following all IRB and human subjects policies and regulations; submitting continuing reviews and modifications to the IRB as-needed; tracking subject recruitment and ensuring study milestones are being met; performing chart reviews; managing study-related materials and documentation; communicating with participants; conducting post-intervention interviews; tracking and completing study adverse event forms; creating meeting agendas; creating bi-annual presentations for the Data and Safety Monitoring Board; communicating regularly with study investigators; and other research duties as needed.

In addition to the above, the CRC-C will have demonstrated research experience and administrative skills. Additional duties will include communications with a spectrum of stakeholders including clinicians. The CRC-C is expected to provide additional involvement in developing recruitment and other process strategies, presenting data and reports to the research team.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of related experience in research and clinical study methodologies or equivalent combination of education and experience is required

This position is contingent upon funding.
