The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Candidates should be board certified in Hematology.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching hematology-oncology fellows, medical residents and medical students. The successful candidates will have clinical and teaching experience in the area of non-malignant hematology. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high quality teaching responsibilities.

Clinical responsibilities may include care of patients with sickle cell disease, disorders of hemostasis and thrombosis, and general benign hematologic conditions. The successful applicants will conduct high quality clinical trials. Participation in clinical trials is an important part of this role.

There will be an expectation of the ability of selected candidates to provide management and/or leadership. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
