The Louisiana Community and Technical College System invites nominations and applications for the premiere position of Chancellor of Delgado Community College (Delgado). Delgado is renowned as Louisiana’s largest community college, serving individuals of all ages who reflect the diversity of the New Orleans metropolitan area.  One of the most dynamic post-secondary institutions in the state, in 2017-18, Delgado had more than 7,000 graduates and served more than 35,000 students in credit, non-credit, and adult education programs.  Delgado has seven campuses and sites located in the Greater New Orleans region and is in the midst of a capital improvement project of over $200 million.

Nestled in the vibrant and culturally diverse City of New Orleans, Delgado is seeking a dynamic leader who is a strong advocate for quality academic and workforce development and is committed to understanding and capitalizing on the unique culture of New Orleans and its surrounding communities. The next Chancellor will provide exceptional leadership and service to students, build robust business partnerships, and have a demonstrated commitment to improving access, student success and completion.  

Delgado boasts some of the state’s and region’s most sought after and respected programs including its Fab Lab, Maritime and Fire Safety, Manufacturing, and the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program.
