We are interested in candidates from psychology and statistical science who demonstrate excellence in teaching and research whose research program advances both disciplines and complements our existing strengths in both Psychology and Statistical Sciences . We are particularly interested in scholars who transcend traditional statistical and psychology research topics, and who are working on non-traditional areas at the cutting edge of both disciplines.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Psychology, Neuroscience, Biostatistics, Statistics, or a closely related field by the time of appointment or shortly thereafter. Excellence in research is evidenced primarily by the quality of published or forthcoming papers in top ranked and field-relevant academic journals, the submitted research statement, presentations at conferences, research awards and accolades, and strong endorsements by referees of top international stature. Evidence for excellence in teaching is based on strong letters of reference, teaching accomplishments and a teaching dossier containing a strong statement of teaching philosophy, teaching evaluations and sample syllabi.
