As an awards coordinator, you will help to grow the competition recognition of SCAD student and faculty talent by collaborating with the assistant director to ensure all academic programs are represented through the awards program. You will compile student work to prepare them for application submissions to national, international, and professional competitions. You will secure all required information for applications from students to meet internal deadlines, work to ensure the highest quality of student work is represented through the awards program, and create Qualtrics surveys to collect student data for submissions. You will also follow up with students as needed.
In this position, you will prioritize submitting student works to high-quality, highly visible competitions such as Disney Imaginations, Red Dot Design, The Rookies, Coca-Cola Refreshing Films, and more. You will work with faculty, academic leaders, and students throughout the year to maximize submissions to award programs. You will also identify and vet new competitions to improve yearly growth.
The successful candidate demonstrates exceptional communication skills and a strong attention to detail. The ability to multitask is also essential.

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Cognos, and Qualtrics
Travel Required:
- Less than 10%
