As the assistant director of admission, you will travel to effectively represent the university to prospective students at school specific events and information sessions while building ongoing professional and institutional relationships. Your responsibilities will include following up with prospective students to discuss their interests and answer questions about the admission process and opportunities at the university, increasing the positive awareness of SCAD in the assigned region, and planning travel to strategically identified high schools and universities. In this position you will be expected to deliver creative and engaging classroom presentations to students and individually meet with them to provide enrollment process information. In this position you will strive to increase the positive awareness of SCAD in your assigned region to support and facilitate successful college search processes for students. Additional responsibilities include counseling students on the application process and necessary supporting documents or portfolios and conducting information sessions and other activities for interested parties.
Minimum Qualifications:
Travel required: Over 50%
Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
