Transfer Adviser

As a transfer adviser you will be responsible for evaluating AP transcripts, CLEP results, international baccalaureate transcripts, A-level transcripts, dual-enrolled student transcripts, M.Arch graduate applicants, and more. In this position, you will enter credits into Banner, provide evaluations to the students with a letter of explanation, and meet with students to review and discuss any issues with first-quarter registration.You will be expected to participate in virtual sessions to reach students at various parts of the admission cycle and participate in special events as needed. Other responsibilities include registering students in appropriate classes, recommending additional courses, organizing evaluations and portfolios for review, reviewing courses for transient approval, and assist prospective students and families.

Minimum Qualifications:   

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Detail oriented


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Banner and Salesforce


Certificates, licenses, and registrations:

  • Valid driver’s license


Travel Required:
  • Less than 10%  


Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
