As the videographer, you will be responsible for working in the field and in-studio productions, both as an individual and as a member of the video production team. You will be expected to regularly check your calendar to ensure all assignments are completed, assess equipment for repairs and troubleshoot problems, perform maintenance, and research new equipment. In this position your responsibilities will include meeting deadlines, working alongside students, generating ideas for production, and approaching assignments with enthusiasm and creativity.
As the videographer you will work with the creative content team as they develop film and video projects that are based on the overall strategies of the visual media department. These projects will communicate the university's brand, intentions, and stories in film. The position requires arriving to work on time based on the schedule established with the chief videographer and attending staff meetings to discuss production schedules as well as department policies and procedures.

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with experience in lighting, shooting video and audio, and editing in Adobe Premiere
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills, professional etiquette, and a working knowledge of the latest shooting styles, techniques, and equipment
- Ability to handle demanding requests and flexibility to accommodate last minute schedule changes
- Branded content experience
