As a photography production assistant, you will assist the visual media department in all aspects of photography production, from pre-production to post-production. Daily duties include researching, developing, scheduling, coordinating, and producing all needed elements of photoshoots for the university’s use in digital and print marketing, PR materials, and more. You will be involved in each project from conception to completion while collaborating with other SCAD departments. In this role, you will also help manage and obtain legal documents from shoots and vendors (i.e., permits, appearance releases), work alongside university resources for shoot setup and breakdown, assist with commissioning vendors for styling, organize shoot schedules and prepare call sheets, and other duties as needed.
The successful candidate is meticulously detail oriented, highly organized, and very personable, as working with high profile visiting artists, shy students, and busy faculty and staff members constitutes a large portion of the job. The candidate can also work outside office hours, weekends, and holidays, as well as travel domestically and internationally on short notice as needed.

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.

- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in photography, film, and/or television production
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Outlook, Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, and Capture One
- Knowledge of and experience with camera equipment
