As the SCADstory assistant operations manager, you will be responsible for interviewing and hiring docent staff, coordinating student schedules, and ensuring student coverage for operational hours and special events. You will work to guarantee the quality of the guest interaction aspects of the SCADstory are upheld. In this role responsibilities will include positively engaging visitors with information about the university, maintaining a record of daily visitations, and supervising show operations.
In this position you will work to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the SCADstory experience, frequently communicating with campus safety and housekeeping to confirm that the needs of SCADstory are met. Responsibilities include collaborating with the technical team and boutique operations manager, serving as a role model to students, providing communications to guests when reservations are cancelled or rescheduled, and maintaining excellent working relationships with colleagues in other departments.

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, writing, and customer service skills
- Must possess a high level of attention to detail and be able to prioritize tasks
- Must be able to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision
