As the assistant director of enrollment, you will foster relationships with prospective students and parents by initiating communication through various ways including attending educational or professional events. You will identify and work with high schools, colleges/universities, educational organizations, etc., to plan visits; you will then plan and execute information sessions. As the director, you will provide individual attention to prospective students to answer questions and encourage the submission of portfolios and resumes. You will prepare electronic material submission for scholarship and admission review, prepare academic documentation for transfer evaluation, and will follow up with students who do not enroll.
In this position you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records in Banner/Salesforce, managing current applicant files, and staying up to date on college policies. Maintaining daily telephone appointments using Appointment Plus is required. Among other duties, the director will follow up with prospective students.The assistant director acts as on-campus support for signature and special events as needed.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate leadership skills through mentoring new staff members and providing new ideas and helpful feedback to staff regularly. They must be comfortable delivering engaging and creative presentations.

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Exceptional communication and organization skills, with web knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to think strategically and reach goals
- Ability to work well under pressure and shift focus quickly
- Positive attitude and the ability to travel
