As the faculty development content creator, you will work on the university’s dynamic faculty development programs including SCAD Best Practices in Teaching workshops, Teaching Success Program, quarterly faculty conferences, presidential fellowships, sabbatical awards, SCADpro training, and more. You will be expected to create visually compelling instructional materials and produce/edit high-quality training videos. In this position, you will maintain a library of instructional media assets and stay current with industry trends.
The faculty development content creator creates high-quality content that supports and enriches all aspects of the university’s faculty professional development ecosystem, from promotion and implementation to documentation and archiving, across all SCAD locations and learning modalities. This position comes with the opportunity to teach, as necessary and with prior approval, to stay up to date in teaching best practices to inform the development and advancement of faculty development resources. The ideal candidate can work well both individually and collaboratively.

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours to accommodate business needs, including weekends and evenings.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree with preference in graphic design, visual communication, motion graphics, or a related field
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and exceptional work ethic
- Ability to prioritize and manage projects efficiently
- Experience working within an innovative, fast-paced, and professional environment. Advanced experience using the Adobe Creative Cloud and presentation-specific software
- Teaching experience at the collegiate level and/or eligible to teach
