As the assistant director of enrollment, you will foster relationships with prospective students and parents by initiating communication via telephone, email, and social media or through attending educational or professional events, and identifying and working with high schools, colleges/universities, educational organizations, etc., to plan visits; you will then plan and execute information sessions. You will provide individual attention to prospective students to discuss their interests, encourage on-ground visitation, and answer questions about the admission process and opportunities. The assistant director will encourage the submission of portfolios and resumes, prepares electronic material submission for scholarship and admission review, will prepare transcripts and other academic documentation for transfer evaluation, and will follow up with students who do not enroll.
In this position you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records in Banner/Salesforce, managing current applicant files, and staying up to date on college policies. Maintaining daily telephone appointments using Appointment Plus is required. Among other duties, the associate director of admission will follow up with prospective students to answer any questions and will provide admission/financial aid information along with supporting documents.
The assistant director acts as on-campus support for providing tours, assisting in SCAD Days, summer programs, covering LivePerson call center shifts, or volunteering for other events as needed. This position requires flexibility throughout the recruitment year to allow for institutional and personal growth. The associate director of admission must demonstrate leadership skills through mentoring new staff members and providing new ideas and helpful feedback to admission leadership regularly.
The ideal candidate can deliver engaging and creative presentations, displays strong organizational skills through planning and coordinating travel, works effectively both individually and with others, and can travel extensively.
Minimum Qualifications:
Certificates, licenses, and registrations: Valid driver’s license
Travel Required: 10-20%
Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Exceptional communication skills, attention to detail and organization, and time management skills
- ability to think strategically and work toward department goals
- Must work well under pressure and be able to shift focus quickly with positive attitude
- Advanced customer relations skills and web knowledge with the ability to multitask and to strategize and reach goals
- Available to travel
