As the enrollment events manager, you will work with the executive director of admission to receive and give updates regarding admission events and work closely with leadership to create and implement Pre-College Program marketing strategies to promote awareness. The person in this position will coordinate and attend meetings with the necessary participants regarding events to determine and secure needed equipment and spaces. This position is the lead communication liaison, ensuring all event information is current and accurate. The enrollment events manager is responsible for producing event summaries, production timelines, and budgets while creating and maintaining guest/RSVP lists, then making sure they are distributed. The person in this position is responsible for preparing reports on admission events, evaluating operation goals, and disseminating information in a timely manner.
The enrollment events manager will plan and lead the Accepted Students Celebration, acting as the host. The ideal candidate will also support student leadership as needed, including responsibility for the Student Ambassador Program and Pre-College Program Assistants. As needed, the enrollment events manager will be able to participate in evening and/or weekend events, working closely with SCAD events to ensure consistency. This role will provide on-campus support and be able to travel to represent the university. Other duties may be assigned at any time.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required
Exceptional communication skills: writing and public speaking
Must have advanced customer relations skills
Ability to travel to all SCAD locations as needed
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be able to participate in evening and weekend work as needed
Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of one year experience preferred
Certificates, licenses and registrations: Valid Driver's License
Work Hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
