SCAD seeks an experienced, full-time professor of film and television to join its faculty in historic Savannah, Ga. In this role, you will help prepare the next generation of visual media professionals.
SCAD film and television students are immersed in a creative studio environment where cutting-edge technology and academic and professional instruction enable them to create award-winning media. Student productions have been screened at premier film festivals around the world, including the Sundance Film Festival, Cannes Film Festival, the Los Angeles Film Festival, and South by Southwest.
As a professor, you will join SCAD and its School of Film and Acting in providing educational opportunities of excellent quality to its students within a professional environment wherein knowledge, creativity, discipline, and character are developed. To accomplish this, you will teach a variety of courses, attend on-ground events, and participate in committees or councils as needed, among other duties, in support of this mission.
Minimum Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience at the collegiate level
Certificates, licenses, and registrations: Ability to be credentialed through SACS guidelines or justified to teach

- M.F.A. in film and television or closely related discipline
- Extensive professional experience and qualifications in film and television
