Professor of Fashion Marketing and Management

SCAD seeks a full-time professor to join the internationally recognized fashion marketing and management program in historic Savannah, Georgia.

In this position, you will use your professional skills in motion media and video production to provide direction and support to our students of fashion marketing and management as they develop their own skills in digital presentation techniques and digital visual communication. Your creative leadership will be invaluable to our students as they work in student teams to create their own digital marketing assets for successful brand building in the global fashion industry. Your ability to work effectively with others in creative collaboration will be employed as we reach out to other related departments across SCAD to produce work in cross-departmental projects.

The successful candidate has extensive experience in conceiving and creating visual marketing assets (e.g., videos, look books, advertising) for supporting the achievement of fashion brand objectives. Technical skills in working with the Adobe Creative Suite (i.e., Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere, and XD) are vital to your success in this role as well as your ability to employ design thinking (inspiration, ideation, implementation) to create innovative solutions to address marketing challenges and opportunities for fashion brands.

SCAD Savannah is woven throughout the historic district of one of TIME magazine’s “World's Greatest Places 2021.” Savannah's charming landscapes, vibrant festivals, and celebrated events provide a living laboratory for the study of art and design, as well as an energetic environment in which students, faculty, and staff flourish. This is your chance to work with students in a vibrant and entrepreneurial workplace that embraces innovation, creativity, and collaboration.
