XR Production Manager

As an XR production manager, you will coordinate with the deans of relevant schools, as well as their department chairs, to schedule and coordinate use. You will manage faculty and student crews at all phases of the production process, from outreach to completion.

The successful candidate has superb interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, and has experience running a visual effects or XR stage at feature film-level quality. Knowledge of the visual effects pipeline and production process is paramount, as is the ability to successfully multitask, plan, coordinate, and prioritize multiple projects at once. Excellent project- and calendar-management abilities are essential, as is a high degree of organization. The candidate should be proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Proven successful experience in business, production, and client management
  • Minimum of 10 years of related professional experience in film and TV production OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient in Unreal Engine and building computer networks within film and gaming environments
  • Advanced proficiency with film and television production technology, including within camera and lighting departments (e.g., camera tracking, attendant technology, understanding of color and light)


Work Hours:The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. In order to accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
