Job Description Summary
Reporting to the UPENN Coordinating Center's Project Manager of the RadComp trial, a national multi-site randomized clinical trial (www.radcomp.org), the research coordinator will support the Clinical Events Center and regulatory compliance activities across a network of 30+ enrolling sites. Position is contingent upon continued funding.

Job Description

Reporting to the UPENN Coordinating Center's Project Manager of the RadComp trial, a national multi-site randomized clinical trial (www.radcomp.org), the research coordinator will support the Clinical Events Center and assist with regulatory compliance activities across a network of 30+ enrolling sites.

Duties include, but not limited to:

CRC A: Support the Clinical Events Center; Review and prepare source records, coordinate and track adjudication reviews and other administrative duties; Assist in the regulatory affairs specialist with the management of regulatory compliance for 30+ sites; Update and maintain site contact and system access databases; Prepare monthly site compliance reports; Participate in the auditing and monitoring process, as required; Data Collection and entry; Interact with stakeholders through public messaging

CRC B: In addition to the above, Support the regulatory affairs specialist with the management of regulatory compliance for 30+ sites, including corrective action plan adherence, developing and implementing processes and procedures; Prepare monthly site compliance reports, identify patterns of non-compliance and sites in need of additional support. Develop and implement corrective action plans as needed.

Qualifications

CRC A: Bachelor's Degree with 1-2 years of related experience in research and clinical study methodologies or equivalent combination of education and experience is required; Excellent verbal/written communication skills; excellent technical writing, review, and analytical abilities; Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to work collaboratively on all levels and to gain support of others; Detail oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills required; able to work under pressure and exercise mature judgment, be resourceful and take initiative; Ability to exercise discretion in working with highly confidential and sensitive matter; Strong computers skills. Preferred: Experience in clinical research compliance or clinical research auditing ; QA experience; Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP), and relevant regulations for the conduct of clinical trials including Title 21 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), International Conference of Harmonization (ICH) and Good Clinical (Research) Practice (GCP) Guidelines
