This position is part of the Stem Cell and Xenograft Core, a comprehensive resource facility that provides the research community with samples from patients with hematologic malignancies and healthy donors. This temporary position will bridge the clinic and the laboratory and has several purposes: (1) screen and consent patients with hematologic malignancies and healthy donors; (2) organize and facilitate the collection of samples from these patients; (2) efficiently communicate with laboratory personnel for sample processing and provide internal academic, external academic and corporate users with inventory lists; (3) maintain and update rigorous clinical information records in our database and improve database ease of use; (4) handle database updates, SOP development and IRB protocol renewal; (5) train and mentor Clinical Research Assistants and Research Specialists.
