Electronic Resources Librarian

The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth is seeking applicants for an Electronic Resources Librarian in the
Library/Technical Services Department. The Electronic Resources Librarian is responsible for managing the life cycle of
electronic resources, including license negotiation; acquisition; renewals; activation; discovery and access support;
maintenance; and evaluation. The incumbent analyzes usage statistics and participates in purchase decisions. The Claire
T. Carney Library uses Alma, Primo VE, and EZProxy for electronic resource management, discovery, connection, and
authentication. The librarian in this role ensures continued access to and support for robust, distinctive, and innovative
collecting in support of academic initiatives and university programs. The Electronic Resources Librarian effectively
engages with colleagues across the Library, the University and externally with consortia and vendors.

All librarians have leadership responsibilities and contribute to the goals and strategic direction of the library and university
through active participation on committees, task forces, and working groups.
