Job Description Summary

Job Description

The Analyst and Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible work collaboratively with web portal developers, scientific researchers, and academics from various institutions to assure project requirements are executed on schedule and as designed. The incumbent will facilitate communication between several biomedical software development teams in both academia and industry and ensure that agile development processes are followed throughout the project. The project aims to serve, display, and investigate biological research data on a web portal to drive development of therapeutic neuromodulation devices that target neural circuitry of the autonomic nervous system.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain ticketing system(s) to track development of product life cycle and track progress; Collaborate and facilitate communication with users, project and product managers as well as technical staff to identify feedback and project requirements to create user stories with acceptance criteria captured and managed in a ticketing system
  • Lead regular product development meetings with technical staff, users, and stakeholders
  • Create, maintain, oversee, and execute testing and technical process plans and user documentation in support of planned development through sprint and release activities, including onboarding new team members involved in these processes
  • Product testing and reporting of flaws, failures, or faults during development and maintenance phases of product lifecycle, including investigating and troubleshoot issues, develop and document solutions, including those interim to product release cycle
  • Attend regular team and stakeholder meetings, and those as requested


Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Biomedical Informatics, Health Information Systems, Technology Management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Required:
  • Experience with Linux, Windows, Mac OS operating systems
  • Ability to work independently and apply critical thinking and sound judgment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members

    Preferred:
  • Experience in Life Sciences, Neuroscience, Neurology, or related field
  • Experience with quality assurance testing or web development project management
  • Programming experience in Javascript or Python
  • Experience with ticketing systems

    Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
