The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases is required.

Teaching responsibilities may include participation in small group workshops and providing clinical education to medical students, medical residents, and cardiology fellows.

Clinical responsibilities may include evaluation and treatment of patients and families with inherited cardiovascular disorders including one or more the following: inherited cardiomyopathy, aortopathy, arrhythmia, and dyslipidemia and others.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include collaborating with investigators in the Center for Inherited Heart Disease, Cardiovascular Division, Cardiovascular Institute, Department of Genetics, and the Penn Medicine Biobank to bring genomics into the practice of cardiovascular medicine, including assessment of Mendelian Risk, Polygenic Risk, and targeted therapeutics. Evidence of scholarship is required in the clinician-educator track.
