Job Description Summary
Responsible to support a portfolio of School/Center programs, for completing all required program details and providing the highest level of service to faculty, staff and program participants. This position is responsible for coordination of all program materials, classroom set up, and program websites using key operating systems. The coordinator will respond to participant questions in advance of programs, welcome groups at registration, give announcements of essential information at the start of program and communicate critical information throughout the week. The coordinator will promptly and appropriately respond to all client and faculty requests. The coordinator will work with program managers and program directors during the planning process and will work with the highest level of professionalism in an independent, self-directed manner. Coordinator will complete tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures to ensure a seamless, high quality program delivery.

Job Description

With oversight and direction from the Manager of Education Programs, and with input from the Vice Chair of Education, the Educational Coordinator B is responsible for administrative support relating to graduate medical education functions, including but not limited to, external rotators and visitors to the Departmental Educational Programs, and all Medical Student rotations. Responsible for the timely completion and return of all training verification requests for former trainees for outside licensing agencies. Maintains effective working relationships with internal and external Hospital Administration, State Regulatory Agencies and other internal and external regulatory agencies. Ensures confidentiality of protected information at all times. Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills and ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment. Uses acquired knowledge to make division processes and practices effective and efficient in line with departmental standards.

The Educational Coordinator B will continually analyze administrative workflow, maintain databases, communicate with faculty, trainees and other administrative personnel regarding a range of issues, and manage internal and external medical education program relations.

The Educational Coordinator B will provide defined administrative support to the Dermatology Department's Educational Programs in addition to performing other duties assigned.

Responsibilities/Duties

- Responsible for administrative support relating to graduate medical education functions, including but not limited to, external rotators and visitors to the Departmental Educational Programs

- Responsible for administrative support related to all Medical School student rotations (external and internal)

- Assists in preparation of Departmental Budget reporting monthly or quarterly as needed

- Assists in Educational duties regarding faculty compliance as needed

- Assists in the updating and response to the Educational Program and Alumni websites

- Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with 2-3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
