The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure research track. Expertise is required in the specific area of biofluid biomarker analysis and patient classification, biostatistics in frontotemporal dementia and associated neurodegenerative disorders. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include leading a translational research program in biofluid biomarker analysis in frontotemporal dementia and associated neurodegenerative disorders and supervise scientific lab meetings on bioinformatics and biofluid biomarkers. Main responsibilities including supervising and conducting novel research, publishing peer-reviewed scientific manuscripts in high impact journals, presenting data at scientific meetings and maintaining a funding portfolio of NIH and other public/private funding sources to perform translational research.
