Job Description Summary
The Strength and Conditioning Coach temp is responsible for overseeing current training program that has already been developed by previous Assistant Strength coach in order to assist in the program content and delivery to multiple sports teams. During their temporary time, they will develop and implement holistic training program that meets the needs of the coach, team, and individual. Instruct the team, group, or individual student-athletes in the optimal execution of exercises aiming to obtain the desired results, as well as ensure the health and safety of every student-athlete. Additionally, they will oversee the applied sports science data collection and velocity based training with PUSH with respective teams.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree in a related field is preferred. Required certification: Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA) and/or Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (CSCCa). 2 or more years of experience in a collegiate setting is preferred. Experience in data collection, analysis, and data supported decision making is preferred.

Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement holistic training program that meets the needs of the coach, team, and individual. Instruct the team, group, or individual student-athletes in the optimal execution of exercises
- Communicate and collaborate regularly with sport coaches, student-athletes, sports medicine, nutritionists, mental health and performance staff, applied sports science partners, and Director of Strength and Conditioning
- Create and maintain a positive environment. Implement and enforce policies and procedures governing the use of the weight room by all users. Share in the responsibilities of coverage and care of weight
- Oversee the applied sports science data collection and velocity based training with PUSH with respective teams.
- Work with other Sports Performance professionals to educate student-athletes and coaches on best practices for healthy and sustainable performance enhancement, including influential lifestyle habits.
- Other duties as assigned.
